Learn the Fun Way with Barbie's Kitchen Playsets
Banish the doldrums of teaching your children nutritional eating habits. Set them up in a Kitchen Playset of their very own. These toy kitchens are painted wooden kitchens that come with sinks, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators and extra shelving. These creative playthings add hours of imaginative play and allow for personal interaction with family and friends. With this playroom furniture comes additional items such as baskets of fruits and vegetables, 3-D puzzles of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with wooden grocery products.
Having kitchen playsets such as these are an excellent tool to teach children food groups, making healthy choices, how to be "good" to their bodies by giving them the good fuel that it needs. Conversations about what foods contain specific vitamins in a playful setting can set up stellar habits to incorporate into their lives at an early age, at a time where preconceived notions have not formed and good foundational information can pave the way for adult life. Education starts so early and can be done in such a way that learning how to even set a table, entertain family and friends, cooking special meals for favorite people, serving others can add joy to your child's life.
I remember making a "playhouse" of my Grandmother's corn crib when it was empty in the summers. I didn't have some of the great playsets that we have nowadays but it still was one of my favorite childhood memories. Children need to have a "space of their own" to explore, learn and create. They learn about themselves, they likes and dislikes. Providing these kind of opportunities with playroom furniture for kids to explore the different facets of life is a real gift to your child.
After retiring from Chrsyler Provings Grounds 11 years ago, I turned to my passion of woodworking. I currently have partnered with my wife to make frames for her abstract art work. In addition to these interests, we decided to establish an online business that interested both of us so we chose to sell wooden playroom furniture for kids that is also, in many cases, handpainted and even sometimes hand carved since it hit both areas that we have interest. We also love children and thought this was a way to provide nurturing experiences for them, their friends and families.
